There is no shortage of gothic decor inspiration. There is very little practical writing about it. Search for how wide your curtain panels need to be, or what a coffin shelf should be anchored into, and you land either on a mood board with no measurements or on a general home-improvement article that has never heard of the aesthetic.

Sepulcro Lace exists to cover that middle. The guides here are about sizing, materials, mounting, and safety — the parts of decorating a dark interior that have right answers.

What this site covers

Things that stay in your home: curtains, shelving and storage, candles and lighting, wall decor, and furnishings. Permanent decor, in other words, rather than seasonal props.

What it doesn't

No clothing, makeup, or jewellery — different subject, different site. Nothing about occult or ritual practice; decor that looks the part is fine, but this site doesn't make claims about what objects do. And nothing built around licensed characters or franchises.

How the guides are written

Measurements and conventions come from standard practice, and we say when a figure is a general range rather than a rule. We don't invent specifications, and we don't write first-hand product experience we haven't had. Where the manufacturer's own rating or instructions exist, those take precedence over anything written here — particularly for anything mounted on a wall or involving an open flame.
